BVSD Partnership
The Growe Foundation has been supporting the School Food Project since it’s inception with the test program at Creekside Elementary in 2005. We are very excited and proud to have driven this test program and have worked with BVSD since to garner key learning’s. These pioneering steps have helped us to build the foundation for the larger School Food Project which launched in 2008.
With programs like Garden to Table, the Growe Foundation supports the School Food Project to integrate hands-on learning around nutrition, food preparation and environmental stewardship. This programming enables our students to better understand the important role of food and nutrition in their lives and creates a foundation for lifelong wellness.
